Enjoying Health .... Enjoying Life!

One on One Exercise Rehabilitation Sessions may be advisable in the following circumstances:

Often the cause of injury or pain can be due to muscle imbalance, poor training technique, compensation patterns, poor neuromuscular control, lack of core stability, poor glute strength or stiffness in the thoracic or lumbar spine.
While our treatments are effective in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, it is because we have a strong focus on the rehabilitation & education aspects of pain & injury management that we are able to provide our patients with a long-term solution for their problem area/s.
An Osteopathic assessment and treatment/s is required to assess the area of dysfunction and serve as an inital basis before Exercise Rehabilitation sessions commence.

  • Post injury rehabilitation (ankle, spine, foot, hand, elbow, knee, shoulder, hip).
  • As an adjunct to Osteopathic treatments.
  • As a maintenance program once resolution has been achieved through Osteopathic consultations.
  • For hobbies/sports/occupations requiring increased strength in particular muscle groups.
  • For people with exaggerated spinal curves (scoliosis), joint asymmetries, or muscle imbalances.
  • For those suffering with osteoarthritis - to increase joint range of motion, increase muscle strength and for joint nutrition.
  • For those with, or at risk of developing, osteoporosis - to gently build muscle, improve balance and restore bone strength.
  • For active individuals wanting to improve their athletic performance in strength, flexibility, speed, agility & co-ordination.
  • To improve posture, by helping to strengthen certain muscles & lengthen others.
  • To re-train & strengthen core muscles, gluteal muscles and pelvic floor for injury management or prevention.
  • To improve balance & in the prevention of falls.
